The date for the first Common University Entrance Test (CUET-PG) for admission to Post Graduate (PG) in Central Universities has been released.

This was informed by UGC Chairman Prof. M Jagadishan Kumar. He said that with the release of the notification, the process of application has started.

Students can apply till 18 June. The online application window has been released on the website of National Testing Agency late Thursday evening.

National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the CUET-PG 2022. The Combined University Entrance Exam will be conducted in the last week of July.

It will be computer based. Apart from the central universities, one can also take admission in various PG programs from the merit score of CUET-PG in other universities.

42 Central Universities are getting involved: Prof. Kumar said that after graduation, now enrollment in postgraduate programs will also be done from CUET-PG 2022.

Students will get rid of the application of separate entrance test for enrollment. The window for filling the online application form has been opened on the NTA website.

You can apply online till June 18. The seat will be awarded on the basis of the score of Common University Entrance Test

in the postgraduate programme. Apart from CUET-PG, 42 central universities can also conduct their own entrance exams in the academic session 2022-23.

From the next session, it will be compulsorily applicable for admission to postgraduate programs for all central universities.
